[Pokemon - Left 4 Dead]

Very creative, but needs some improvement

As a fan of Pokémon and a HUGE fan of Left 4 Dead, I was very impressed that you came up with such an interesting idea. However, as an audio production major, I feel that there could've been some significant improvements with the sound levels. Your selection of Pokémon music to accompany certain parts of your animation was really well-timed (i.e. when Louis takes the pills) but when I started watching the animation, the music was at a comfortable volume but then out of nowhere that first hunter sound effect came in and almost blew my ears off. Perhaps you could've increased the music volume or lowered the volume of all the L4D SFX a lot. Also, you might wanna look into applying some bit distortion to the L4D sound effects to give them an authentic 8-bit sound so that the Pokémon music and Left 4 Dead SFX have a very similar quality to them. However, as far as art and animation goes, you pretty much nailed it. It's perfect for this animation. The sequence of the battle was excellent as well. Great job!

As a beginner to managing sounds, I made the music quiet to lower it's size, I think lowering the sound fx to 8-bit quality would sound crappy and then no one would shut up about it.

Umm yeah I'd say the only reason I'm giving you such a rating is because I've never had a flash animation boggle my mind so damn much in my entire life. Congratulations for most likely breaking the record for the longest and most fucked up cartoon on newgrounds.com
Oh by the way, congratulations for gradually wasting countless amounts of time for those bored enough to stumble over here for the past 6 years. I will say that's one hell of an anniversary.

Incredibly touching!

I'm somewhat short of words here, but that's only because I can barely describe how I feel about your masterpiece.

On top of creating the animation, which was amazing might I add, you actually wrote the score for your project! That became clear to me shortly after I noticed the keys being played on the piano in the beginning match what's being played (yes I have perfect pitch.)

The story was also brilliant, in that it follows the passion of a struggling and lonesome musician who has nowhere to escape except for the piano. Your timeline and selections of scenes was of professional quality; especially the way it concluded.

Your extraordinarily talented. Keep up the great work! =)

[The Blind Swordsman]

Evil-Dog, I was honestly worried that this was going to be another April Fools' game like Segway of the Dead...but I realized how wrong I was after killing the first enemy. This is a masterpiece! By the way, for all the people complaining...I beat this game with absolutely no help, was able to beat the archers, the wolves, and the knight on the horse in one try. Use your ears. Use your instincts. I'm a sound engineer and I was beyond impressed with your incredible attention to detail in this incredibly unique game. Seriously...this is the most fun I've had with a flash game in years (and I've been a member of Newgrounds for almost 15 years! I would BUY this! Great work dude.

[Samurai Asshole 2]

Absolutely incredible! After all these years, the wait was definitely worth it. Gotta say, my favorite part was when you got to team up with Pico and Darnell to defeat Tyrone the Pimp and rescue Princess Nene from Telebubby Funland. Also I'm glad I took on Asshole difficulty in order to unlock the duel wield function. I'm practically unstoppable in all the challenge modes, even the Uberkids level that I once thought to be impossible to beat despite the help you get from Scrotum the Puppy during the boss battle in the Lair of Cat Dynamics. Epic game. I'm definitely looking forward to some more phenomenal NG flash game sequels.

It's been a long, long time since I've seen any new material from you, and it's obvious that you haven't lost your touch. If only this game of yours had more levels to offer, it would definitely hold the place of #1 in the Portal. Keep up the amazing work! I can't wait to see another new release from you, especially since I've been a fan since Disorderly! =)

An epic, in your face trance track!

Before that percussion came in, I was honestly hoping you'd have this one going in 3/4 timing. It's wonderful. From the choice of melody, percussion, and everything in between, this is one of the best tracks I've heard in a long time, and I'm an avid DJ and listener of electronic dance music. I produce as well, although I have been looking for suggestions as to what I should tackle next after using Reason 3 and 4. If you don't mind me asking, what did you use to produce/sequence/master this track? It's top-notch dude, keep it up! =)

I rarely write reviews...but...

For starters...the first thing I noticed was how incredibly well it was EQ'd, panned, mastered, and noticed all of the effort, originality, and professionalism in this track. What on earth do you use to create such a mindmelting DnB tune like this. Great work man. The bass is so smooth, you must really have the hang of using compression. Really deep, chill DnB here. I'm gonna go check out the rest of your stuff. Please keep submitting stuff here, it's absolutely incredible. It's a shame people don't appreciate masterful music like this. Epic track!

I actually used FL Studio 9 for this tune, so nothing special as far as the DAW goes :P

I might put some tutorials up soon if anyone's interested.

Incredibly produced house track!

Wow dude, really good job with this track! I guess what impresses me the most is that you were able to do so much with so little, since you're only using Reason 4, the Deadmau5 XFER Sample Pack, the Thor and the NN-XT. You seem like someone I'd enjoy collaborating with. Let me know if you're interested in working on something similar to this later on this month. I recommend you check out my tracks "In Your Embrace" and "Foxy Lady" to give you a feel of what kind of music I've produced this year. Later man!
