I've had a Newgrounds account for entirely too long, lol. Anyway, enjoy the music guys! Even though I quit animating long ago, Newgrounds is STILL a great outlet for expressing my creativity. AP = 2nd Best NG Idea Ever, best was the AUTOMATED Flash Portal

Pokemon - Left 4 Dead

"Very creative, but needs some improvement"

date: November 29, 2009

As a fan of Pokémon and a HUGE fan of Left 4 Dead, I was very impressed that you came up with such an interesting idea. However, as an audio production major, I feel that there could've been some significant improvements with the sound levels. Your selection of Pokémon music to accompany certain parts of your animation was really well-timed (i.e. when Louis takes the pills) but when I started watching the animation, the music was at a comfortable volume but then out of nowhere that first hunter sound effect came in and almost blew my ears off. Perhaps you could've increased the music volume or lowered the volume of all the L4D SFX a lot. Also, you might wanna look into applying some bit distortion to the L4D sound effects to give them an authentic 8-bit sound so that the Pokémon music and Left 4 Dead SFX have a very similar quality to them. However, as far as art and animation goes, you pretty much nailed it. It's perfect for this animation. The sequence of the battle was excellent as well. Great job!

Author's Response:

As a beginner to managing sounds, I made the music quiet to lower it's size, I think lowering the sound fx to 8-bit quality would sound crappy and then no one would shut up about it.
Thanks for the advice anyway.

It's been a long, long time since I've seen any new material from you, and it's obvious that you haven't lost your touch. If only this game of yours had more levels to offer, it would definitely hold the place of #1 in the Portal. Keep up the amazing work! I can't wait to see another new release from you, especially since I've been a fan since Disorderly! =)

Demented Cartoon Movie!

"10/10"

date: September 27, 2007

Umm yeah I'd say the only reason I'm giving you such a rating is because I've never had a flash animation boggle my mind so damn much in my entire life. Congratulations for most likely breaking the record for the longest and most fucked up cartoon on newgrounds.com
Oh by the way, congratulations for gradually wasting countless amounts of time for those bored enough to stumble over here for the past 6 years. I will say that's one hell of an anniversary.

I'm somewhat short of words here, but that's only because I can barely describe how I feel about your masterpiece.

On top of creating the animation, which was amazing might I add, you actually wrote the score for your project! That became clear to me shortly after I noticed the keys being played on the piano in the beginning match what's being played (yes I have perfect pitch.)

The story was also brilliant, in that it follows the passion of a struggling and lonesome musician who has nowhere to escape except for the piano. Your timeline and selections of scenes was of professional quality; especially the way it concluded.

Your extraordinarily talented. Keep up the great work! =)

P.S: Ignore the morons who are accusing you of 'ripping on metal'. I, for one love metal yet that was one of the most interesting scenes!

I gave this a 10 for sound just cuz my buddy Pete played Chris, unfortunately he wasn't given the proper credit, but I just let him know, he's sending you a message (I believe his NG account has 'scoogi' somewhere in the name). Keep up the great work!! 5/5

Truth about Masturbation

"I honestly don't know what Tom saw in this but..."

date: July 15, 2006

....it didn't make me laugh at all. Here's a question for you though. How could you have possibly needed 4 people to make this flash? I believe the only possibility would be 1 person did the animation, 1 person did the music, and 1 person held a microphone while jerking his friend off. =P j/p man, though I wonder if anyone else got curious 'bout that. honestly, i think you can do better than this guys. the only upside is that i ended up waitin' for sumthin to happen and ended up watchin the loop for like 10 seconds, lol. sick shit

Graphics (3): Nothing too be proud of.
Style (4): Loops have been done before, but this one fooled me, maybe cuz I'm high.
Sound(5): Yeah...it definately sounded like actually jerking off. Scary.
Violence(0): That is if you don't count the damage done to my eyes and ears.
Interactivity(0): Yup
Humor(2): It was ...kinda funny...I guess. Guess if I'd cracked a smile I"d give u a 4.
Overall(4): Improve your skills and come out /w some serious shit.

Jack French #1

"4/5 EXCELLENT WORK!!!"

submission: Jack French #1
date: January 27, 2006

I really wanted to give this a 5. It kept me hooked until I beat it. It reminded me of Phantasmagoria spliced with The Crimson Room. I gave it a 4 though. I suggest for Jack French Part 2 you go on the newgrounds bbs and look for people willing to voice act. a pal of mine has been looking for animations or even games to use his voice (he can do dozens of voices). the game was incredible though. i loved the artwork in the game. i can definately tell a LOT of time and effort went into it. the concept, and the artwork especially. keep up the great work! but ...next time, just get some voice actors...plz. (if my best friend died i'd be in hysterical fit of sadness and anger)

"fuckin hilarious!!"

date: January 12, 2006

got a good laugh at the end with the 'i'm sure he will' and the dad has the lube in his hand. by the way...at the end it sounded like u had a guitar chord from 'innervision' by system of a down followed by a record stopping not even half a second after it was playing. i may be wrong, but my ears are pretty damn good. anywayz...GREAT animation dude! keep up the good work! =)

Manhunt Game

"nice game and programming"

submission: Manhunt Game
date: January 10, 2006

only one problem, there are quite a few noticable grammar errors in the instructions, and in the message you get before you begin playing. none were bad enough for me to not understand it. just constructive advice that's all, it looked like you put a lot of effort into it. fix the grammar and you are good to go. also, i was disappointed you only get one life. its very challenging, but make it 3 lives and most people won't have any reason to complain. also, it'd be cool if you re-wrote the instructions. eh...i'm generous. so i'll write them for u =)

You're name is Cash. You're objective is to kill your boss. But before you do this, you need to eliminate all the guards. If any guards hear you, they will chase you and kill you. But if you manage to escape from their field of vision, you'll be safe.

You can use 6 kinds of weapons. You'll find one every 2 rounds. You can use them by hitting "Z". Remember that you need to be behind guards if you want to kill them. To walk quietly, hold "Shift" while using the left or right arrow keys to turn.
You have to kill at least one guard to pass the level.

Btw props for the music you used. And I like how you could skip the intro AND the instructions. Good work man, keep it up!
